Shipbrokers
Meyership AS comprises an experience and well established brokerage firm with expertise in coastal freight and North Sea transport. We have attained solid market competency within this field and our skills have helped us earn long term contracts with companies such as Elkem, Fundia Armeringsstål, Norwegian Public Roads Administration and EKA Chemicals Rana.
In order to meet industry demands, we operate a number of ships on an exclusive basis. Additionally, we have a diverse broker network owning to our servicing both the coast and the North Sea. This network is a valuable resource for our operations.
Overseas Transport
Meyership has in place a contact network that enables us to service needs for general and container based cargo to and from all corners of the globe. We have established contracts with global line shipping companies, which allow us to provide excellent transport options to destinations throughout the world.
Container Lines
As agents for North Sea Containerline, we have regular service to Hamburg, Immingham and Rotterdam.
Our own container line has weekly service between Mo-Narvik-Mo (MoNa Line).
Clearance
Mo i Rana is one of Norway's busiest ports in terms of ship traffic. Naturally, all the ships that visit our port are not familiar with the entire spectrum of trade and industry in Rana. In order to coordinate various matters concerning local commerce and public authorities, the ships need the assistance of an agent who can perform clearance services. The clearance agent maintains all required contact with customs, pilot, port authorities, ship chandler, doctors, etc. This service is a logical part of our operations, and this service is chiefly provided to the shipping companies.
Other services we provide for our transport customers include customs clearance, insurance, storage and terminal services.
